Welcome to Priory Woodcrafts
Priory Woodcrafts is a small craft outlet turning wood for pleasure, having spent forty years in various aspects of engineering and transportation, I felt that it was time to make a change and work with my hands rather than push a mouse around a desk or attend meetings. So when the opportunity arose to make fresh start I 'turned' my attention to a hobby which has given me a great deal of enjoyment over the last few years.
Having swamped the house, relatives and friends with bowls, clocks and lamps etc I decided it was time to seek alternative outlets.
Who are we?
A small team comprising of my wife - Barbara, who manages the orders, ensures that the finished articles meet the specifications, looks after sales as well as providing a supply of hot drinks during our cold Scottish winters - David one of my four sons, who who put this web site together and finally there is me - Keith, who meets your specifications by producing the turned items.
We aim to cover the costs of materials used, i.e. wood, polish and the provision of fittings used.We alsomake provision for the purchase and replacement of tools, electricity etc.
What do we do?
We are pleased to make individual items or in sets meeting your requirements. In the gallery we show some examples of the work that we do, together with some sample specifications. So whether it is a gift for someone special or to treat yourself, ordering is simple and safe, and you will find our prices up to 50% less than on the High Street.
